We are a group of individuals who have found freedom in Jesus Christ. Our hope is to love the community of Lorain, OH by sharing and showing Jesus to as many as we can. We are a mission center in the heart of Lorain along Lake Erie.
We are also the home of Lighthouse Baptist Church, a Southern Baptist Church, but partner with many other believers of like faith to feed, clothe and rescue the hurting and hungry of Lorain, Ohio and beyond.
We are currently holding worship services on Sunday while holding prayer and praise on Tuesdays at our new location of 1900 Oberlin Ave (Lorain Full Gospel Bldg). We work with the homeless "Tent City" throughout the week.
Our hope is to have a One Step Recovery Group incorporating Celebrate Recovery and Biblical Life Coaching to those addicted in various forms.
Soon, we will have links to ministry partners below. If you are a church that would like to provide a meal for 100 people on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday evening, contact us here.
Below are some pictures of previous outreach events we have held and a look at our first Sunday service. Click here to read about our Lighthouse Laid Out Plan for ministry. We want to be a true hand up to the hurting and homeless and not simply a hand out.
